The Charity

I am really proud and honoured to have been elected the Mayor of the Borough of Bracknell Forest - my chosen charity is The Fire Fighters Charity. When we are in trouble or an emergency occurs we are hugely fortunate to be able to call on the amazing professional staff of the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service. But who do these amazingly committed professionals call on whey they are in trouble or need support? They call The Fire Fighters Charity for rehabilitation, recuperation, well-being programme and physiological support. Every pound we raise contributes to mental health support role which will be based out of Bracknell Fire Station, supporting RBFRS’ commitment to contribute to a wider health, safety and wellbeing agenda. I want to ensure that the firefighters of Bracknell Forest, and of Royal Berkshire, who always there waiting for our call 24 hours day, 7 days a week and 52 weeks a year, have someone to call on then they need help, when they needs support.
